The Twisted Thistle

Had a lovely meal at the twisted thistle. The staff were amazing and the atmosphere was lovely too. The food was perfect. There is a parking area and a beer garden. There is also a function suite available for hire.

Lovely atmosphere and no loud background music meaning we could enjoy our dinner peacefully. Friendly and welcoming staff from start to finish. Food cooked to perfection, no complaints. Too full to try the pudding this time. Will be back.

Great food large portions all freshly cooked. Good for Celiacs. Not much parking and road beside restaurant is full of very deep potholes. Very loud venue but worth it for food and friendly staff.

This place was great. Food was amazing and staff were great. I had the Mushroom Bruscheta and Cajun Chicken pasta. Portions were so big I couldn't finish the pasta. Pasta also came with garlic bread. Would definitely recommend it. Parking was a bit tight due to the time we went, but there are areas around it you can get parked. Some local shops across the road from it too which makes it very handy.

Great wee pub. After a long hill walk this was a great place to get some food and a drink, and relax a bit.

Simple & delicious! From the moment we step inside the staff were lovely. The Chicken Parmagiana was massive, the chicken was crispy and juicy. The Mac Firecracker was really good and was portioned perfectly. We will definitely be back to this little gem!

Fantastic atmosphere, lovely staff and accommodating to persons with extra needs. The food was brilliant, amazing portion size at reasonable prices, full of flavour. The venue out back looked decent too, highly recommend!
